Short description of project
The NEAT consortium aims to strengthen and enhance the use of economics in animal health in higher education and professional environments throughout Europe. The following strategic and operational objectives have been defined: 1. Improved organisational coordination for those developing and delivering curricula and course content on economics for animal health professionals. 2. Identification of teaching and training needs for undergraduate, postgraduate and established professionals. 3. Development of curricula, course contents, teaching and training materials for undergraduate, postgraduate and established professionals. 4. Dissemination of curricula, course contents, teaching and training materials. 5. Evaluation of the delivery of teaching and training materials. 
Short description of the task performed by Croatian partner
  ZU will be co-leading WP4 (‘Development and testing of teaching material & innovative teaching tools’) with WU/P6. It will co-lead the innovative development of curriculum to include economics in animal health, development and testing of teaching and training materials and the workshop to enhance and test teaching and training materials together with defined partners, particularly WU/P6. It will further contribute to the preliminary assessment of use of EAH needs and expectations in WP3. It will also  be a member of the Management Board as described in WP1,  participate in the kick-off and the annual network meetings,  provide assistance to the network coordinator,  assume responsibility for the successful coordination and implementation of its WP,  fulfil the tasks as defined in the WP descriptions, incl. deliverables  test the newly developed materials if appropriate,  attend the annual topical workshops with 1-2 representatives,  contribute to the dissemination and other activities as defined in the WP descriptions
