Short description of project
The MAPICC 3D project and concept aims at developing manufacturing system for 3D shaped, multilayered products based on flexible materials. The ultimate goals are:- The development of integrated and automated process chain able to produce from hybrid thermoplastic yarn to 3D complex shaped thermoplastic composite structure in single step thermoplastic consolidation process. 
Short description of the task performed by Croatian partner
Main tasks within the project: - characterisation of textile structure and performs 3D in order to feed and to validate the modelling and the characterisation - study the impact of recycled fibres on final structures of 3D performs - monitor the sensor incorporated in the preforms - functionalization of resin to implement improved properties
