Short description of project
The aim of the We-Go project was to enable public administration in the Western Balkan Countries (WBC) to reach higher productivity and build better alignment by establishing: (1) an eGovernment Interoperability Framework focused on transactional cross border services and providing best practices for corresponding transactional application domains delivered as trial prototypes to enable follow-up implementation projects; (2) eGovernment Academies providing training courses as accompanying measures for the selected applications that also serve as the foundation for future regional eGovernment course program deployments; and (3) an eGovernment Best Practices Portal/ Knowledge Net built by a system of federated registries that will ensure sustainability and further improvements beyond project termination.
