Short description of project |
In this project, the LISS and Magtom Lab intend to investigate their idea of using a rotating field principle for the RFEC inspection of ferrous tubes. Specific aims of this project are laid out as follows: 1) Development of the model of the rotating field transmitter system that will be used for investigation of different transmitter-receiver configurations and evaluation of the sensitivities to the tube properties. 2) Laboratory experimental verification of the model and basic functionalities of the remote rotating eddy current field probe. In the first project year, partners will develop and numerically implement the model of the probe, and design the experimental setup. In the second year, the partners will experimentally verify the proposed approach. One or more joint publications per year are planned for both project years.

U ovome projektu će LISS and Magtom Lab istražiti mogućnost upotrebe principa rotirajućeg magnetskog polja za nerazorno ispitivanje feromagnetskih cijevi tehnikom udaljenog polja vrtložnih struja. Ciljevi projekta su sljedeći: 1) Razvoj modela odašiljača s rotirajućim poljem koji će se koristiti za ispitivanje prikladnih odašiljačko-prijemnih konfiguracija i analizu osjetljivosti na značajke cijevi. 2) Laboratorijska provjera modela i osnovnih funkcionalnosti sonde na princu rotirajućeg udaljenog polja vrtložnih struja. Partneri će u prvoj godini projekta razviti i numerički implementirati model sonde i osmisliti eksperimentalni postav. Eksperimentalna provjera je planirana za drugu godinu. Planirano je objavljivanje zajedničkih radova u obje godine projekta.
