| Short description of project |
| Qualitative and quantitative characterization of different chelate species in samples with different ratios of chelating agent (ethyl acetoacetate) and aluminium sec-butoxide will be conducted. In such manner the data enabling better controll of sol-gel process, as well as process products such as nanocrystalline Al2O3 will be provided.

| Six samples will be prepared with molar ratio of ethyl acetoacetate and aluminium sec-butoxide 0.5/1, 1/1, 1.5/1, 2/1, 2.5/1 i 3/1 and hydrolyzed by exposition to moisture. Samples will be characterized using Fourier transformed infra-red spectroscopy (FTIR), 1H i 13C Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR).
