Short description of project |
The purpose of the present research project is how to link the advanced hydrodynamic calculations and the structural analyses on another side. These two parts went on their own way without any communication even though they are closely related with each other. To do so we need to develop rational tools& procedures which make it possible to handle any type of hydro-structure interactions. The proper hydro-structural responses. Direct calculation approach will be pursued in both fatigue and extreme response issues. This project is closley linked with "P3.2 Hydro structrue interactions for off shore and naval pplications" where quasi-static effects will be studied.
Project is financed under the programme "Global Core Research Center for Ships and Offshore Structures", approved by South Korean Government.
