Development and the increasing use of organofunctional silanes is parallel to the growing use of the special composite materials of expanding applications. Recent development have shown that fillers, particularly after the selected surface modification, could make the positive contributions to composite properties, rheology behaviour and their costs. Preliminary investigations have showed that the surface of the precipitated calcium carbonate(PCC) can be modified with the selected silanes. The silane pre-treated nanosized PCC, evenly distributed in the selected polyurethane(PU) matrix, affect as reinforcing agent in filled PU nanocomposites, as the base for the new adhesive products.
