| Short description of project |
| This proposed project will investigate multiple types of non-acoustic spaces in two countries, China and Croatia, by evaluating the dependence of their acoustic comfort on the characteristics and type of spaces. Objective, measurable factors such as sound levels and acoustic comfort parameters will be evaluated as well in a comparative study to address the cross-cultural differences in socio-economic backgrounds. This study will also include influential subjective factors of acoustic comfort of built non-acoustic spaces. An evaluation framework for acoustic comfort will be established, taking into account different historical and cultural background.

| Predloženi projekt istraživati će više vrsta neakustičkih prostora u dvije države, Kini i Hrvatskoj, ispitivanjem ovisnosti njihovog akustičkog komfora o karakteristikama i vrsti prostora. Također će u komparativnoj studiji biti ispitivani i objektivni, mjerljivi faktori kao što je razina zvučnog tlaka i akustičkom komfor, kako bi se ocijenile međukulturne razlike ovisne o socijalnim i ekonomskim razlikama. Ovo istraživanje će obuhvatiti i utjecajne subjektivne faktore akustičkog komfora izgrađenih neakustičkih prostora. Biti će predložen okvir za evaluaciju akustičkog komfora uzimajući u obzir različite povijesne i kulturne datosti.
