The cooperation between the Chinese and Croatian partners will focus on the mutual exchange of knowledge and experience in development of single shot structured light pattern where research will be directed in two main streams as explained above. We will compare our problems and results, building a common base of knowledge, questions to raise and joint ideas to answer those questions. In turn, the excellence and competiveness of both groups will improve in the field of image processing. Even more importantly, this project will set foundation to more comprehensive and application oriented research projects between researchers in Croatia and China. The involvement of younger researchers in the form of doctoral students will assure those students to learn about the state-of-the-art methods of the field and receive know-how from sources of both research groups. At the same time an additional energy and motivation, which is particular for the younger researchers, will further accelerate project activities.
