Short description of project
The human body has always been the topic of experience and electrical characterization. The exponential increase of portable electrical systems in the last two decades, and so their electrical needs, allowed researchers to look closer to the possible autonomy of these systems. In this context, several researches take place in order to collect and harvest energy from the human body. Different authors have developed a triaxial piezo-resistive accelerometer in order to register accelerations covering the amplitude and frequency ranges of human body acceleration. In diverse papers accelerations made by the human body were used to generate electrical power through a mechanical vibration into electric power converter. Using a piezoelectric cantilever, design a system to transform a part of mechanical energy generated by human limb motion into electrical energy. In some situations, different estimations of the energy available from various kinds of human movements and bodily sources are tabulated. Many human body energy sources availability are treated in like blood pressure, exhaling and breathing. An electricity scavenging system from forces exerted on a shoe during walking is spotlighted.
